Follow That Dream is Sony's Official Elvis Presley CD Collectors Label. These CDs and Book/CD Sets are produced for Elvis Presley Fan Clubs only and all feature unreleased performances. There are the original Collectors CD's with CDs ranging from soundboard recorded concerts (Recorded from the mixing desk in mono) to full RCA professionally recorded concerts in stereo and some great alternate take CDs - Such as The Jungle Room Sessions and Memphis Sessions etc, later FTD introduced the Elvis Classic Album Series where they release the original Elvis albums in deluxe 7" size packaging with a booklet and a usually a second CD of out takes from the same period as the recordings on the album. There is also the Movie Soundtrack Series, usually released as a single CD but again in deluxe 7" packaging with booklet - Very nice!!!!

Classic Elvis : Live 1969

FTD release of Elvis : Live In Las Vegas : August 26, 1969 Dinner Show CD. This CD is in the 5" digi-pack series however it includes a 12- page booklet with liner notes and photos by Ann Moses. The CD is mastered by Vic Anesini from the original stereo multi track tapes. This is Elvis at his best, and in glorious stereo. The midnight show from the same day  has already been released as All Shook Up and finds Elvis in great form, and it's rather special as it's the concert where the laughing version of 'Are You Lonesome Tonight' was recorded.

  Sony Music release of 'Prince From Another Planet', a Madison Square Garden 40th Anniversary 2 CD / DVD Deluxe Set in 8" x 8" packaging. The two remastered CDs are of the June 10th afternoon and evening shows, both remixed by Michael Brauer [* Info] and a 40 minute DVD with never-before-seen footage of Elvis' performance at the Saturday afternoon show, captured on hand-held camera by a fan, and now acquired by Legacy from that fan decades later for this package. Along with the concert film on the DVD is another video document, the press conference that took place on Friday afternoon before the big weekend. Attended by Colonel Tom Parker and Elvis' father, Vernon Presley, Elvis disarms and wins over the New York press corps with his good-natured demeanor. Rarely is unseen footage of Elvis in concert discovered, so this footage lends historical importance to the package. The film is a revealing portrait of a physically commanding Elvis and his powerhouse TCB Band, background vocalists, and orchestra. Also included is a 48 page booklet with liner notes - a 5000 word essay - by Patti Smith's guitarist Lenny Kaye ...

Live On Stage with Sound : 1956

Tupelo's Own Elvis Presley DVD. Digipack with a 16 page booklet. Never before have we seen an Elvis concert from the 50's with sound. Until Now! The DVD Contains recently discovered Unreleased Film of Elvis performing 6 songs, including Heartbreak Hotel and Don't Be Cruel, live in Tupelo Mississippi 1956. Included we see a live performance of the elusive Long Tall Sally seen here for the first time ever. This is an excellent release no fan should be without it. The 'parade' footage is good to see as it puts you in the right context with color and b&w footage. The interviews of Elvis' Parents is well worth hearing too. The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying: Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people. Sincerely, this is the hottest Presley material I've ever seen. There are several complete songs (Heartbreak Hotel, Long Tall Sally, I Was The One, Don't Be Cruel …) but even the snippets, bits and pieces of I Got A Woman or Hound Dog are fun. The evening show and 1957 footages are nice extras to complete it all, just like the audio section with both 1956 shows and an outstanding interview from 1957.
