'4 days in 56 : A Moment In Time' chronicles four days in the Spring of 1956 as Elvis barnstorms from Detroit, to Columbus, Ohio, to Dayton, Ohio and finally lands in Memphis where he gets to enjoy his new home on Audubon Drive. Ernst Jorgensen : 'In the 20 years I have been privileged to work with Elvis Presley CDs and books there have been a number of great discoveries. One, was when I was approached by Michael Rose, who said that he had found a treasure of photos from 1956. I have been bombarded with stories that were simply too good to be true, and in many cases, that's exactly what they were. So with some hesitation I asked Mike to send me some samples, and I was absolutely not prepared for the quantity and quality of these historic images. It was one of these situations where you forget all about financial logic, and just KNOW that this has to be shared with all the fans. Since Mike agreed wholeheartedly, we have spent the last 12 months sorting the material. Mike has been hunting for original stories and clippings, and now we are in the design stage of '4 days in 56 : A Moment In Time', to be released in November'. I hope the fans love the I hope the fans love the images and the story as much as I do. [The book follows Elvis for 4 days in'56 : May 25-28, 1956.] |

FTD's Fashion For A King 512 page Hardcover book including 2 CDs. The book by Pål Granlund is an impressive document of all the outfits Elvis performed in through his career from 1968 and onwards. The book is full of fantastic, previously unreleased, rare and classic photos, all linked together by text written by Tommy Edvardsen and Atle Larsen. The 2 CDs contain two great soundboard recorded concerts. This is a huge work, the weight is approx. 3 kg [6 Pounds for USA] and the size, 30.5cm [12"] x 25.4cm [12"] x 3.7cm [1.5"]. Elvis Presley made a special fashion of his famous and spectacular stage outfits, sometimes referred to as 'jumpsuits'. The name 'Elvis' is heard of in every corner of the world, and nearly everybody has heard about the dynamic performer dressed in a typical 'seventies suit' with rhinestones and embroideries in different patterns. But what many people don’t know, is that these suits have their own name and their own story to tell. Not many people know how these outfits came to be characteristics for Elvis on stage, and their development during the years. It all started with the ['Black Leather Suit' in 1968, and ended with the 'Mexican Sundial Suit' in 1977.

On the third disc we have rare live recordings, with a first time ever release of the song Little Mama ...
FTD have advised us that they have 'had to gamble on the print run for 'A Boy From Tupelo : The Complete 1953-55 Recordings' as reprints seem financially impossible, so in that way this is a limited edition, and only a miracle can change that'. Just from feedback since our just announcing the release date, we can surely predict this will be FTDs biggest selling book set, and also their very fastest selling item. So as with 'Fashion For A King', released only last year, and now sold out, 'A Boy From Tupelo' could easily be sold out just as quickly.
