First, Mongolia is a Communist country that long ago banned rock n roll and anyone even caught with a rock n roll record (CD) could possibly be fined heavily or even jailed or worse! Crazy but true. Anyway, finally the Khan Record label got permission , just this year, from BMG to issue this legal limited CD which may in fact turn out to be the only CD on Elvis released there but time will tell. Please also note that it is illegal to send any of these CD's out of Mongolia. For this reason this CD is one of the rarest ever on Elvis. | |

Elvis Sings For Kids is really a great collection to get kids interested in the music of Elvis Presley. This is a reissue of the album 'Elvis Sings for Children and Grownups Too' released in 1978. I was 5 years old at the time of the original release, and my dad bought the original vinyl album for me. The sound quality of the CD is excellent, especially for a budget release, and it's nice to be able to share this album with my children. The track listing on the album shows only ten songs where the original album had 11 tracks. Well good news, all 11 tracks are on the CD, but for some reason "Big Boots" was omitted from the track listing on both the back cover and the booklet. | |
