![]() |
The Wonder Of You features the complete concert from August 13, 1970, it's been mixed from the original 16-track tapes for the first time in its entirety in Stereo by Vic Anesini. Shorn of the intrusive post production dubs, orchestration and background harmonies of the original releases, and given some inspired sound mixing, the songs on this FTD release are a joy to listen to. The improvement in sound and feel of the original releases is remarkable, revealing an unsuspected vitality and energy, and consequently, the enjoyment the album delivers surpasses anything you can anticipate. Includes seven (7) RARE Live Recordings. Unique performances; Stranger In The Crowd, In The Ghetto, Make The World Go Away, Sweet Caroline, The Wonder Of You, One Night and Don't Cry Daddy. |

I Sing All Kinds FTD CD |
![]() |
I Sing All Kinds a collection of outtakes from the sessions in Nashville during 1971 - I Sing All Kinds has been high on the priority list of many fans for quite some time. This is a great CD - highly recommended to all fans. Sometimes living a long life has its rewards. Living to see this superb FTD album is surely one of them. (0:31) Listen to the 'lost' verse, Elvis sings about Michael Jarrett's children, I'll Be Home On Christmas Day. ('Been so long since I've seen little John, Michele, Christine and Kelly; I forgot with all the presents that I bought, a purse for little sister to carry'.) |
Elvis : An American Trilogy : 1972 : FTD CD [Stereo] : Elvis Presley FTD CD |
![]() |
An American Trilogy contains Las Vegas Concert Recordings from the January/February 1972. This release covers Elvis' engagement at The Las Vegas Hilton in January-February, 1972. RCA did not record entire shows, and several of the new songs Elvis had added to his shows were only recorded once. The consequence is that the main body of the CD - the RCA recordings - feature several previously released versions. Soundboard recordings of other song performances during the engagement were added to the end of the disc in order to make this as representative as possible of Elvis’ repertoire at that time. Unique performances; It's Impossible, It's Over, The Impossible Dream, A Big Hunk O' Love, Until It's Time For You To Go, One Night, and I'll Remember You. |

I Found My Thrill : 1974 : Elvis Presley FTD CD |
![]() |
I Found My Thrill is a soundboard concert recorded at the on January 27, 1974 Dinner show at The Las Vegas Hilton and represents the first official representation of Elvis' Winter Jan/Feb 1974 Las Vegas season. Here we find Elvis fresh and with a new repertoire, which surprisingly includes two 1970 standards Sweet Caroline and You've Lost That Loving Feeling as well as Polk Salad Annie and two very special rare performances of Spanish Eyes and Blueberry Hill. Well before this CD ever came out fans were asking for this release and FTD have included as much as possible from this season. |
Made In Memphis FTD CD |
![]() |
The Made in Memphis FTD CD is another in an extended string of vault excavations from Elvis Presley's apparently inexhaustible library of alternate, unused, and unfinished takes, to be issued by the custom label Follow That Dream through RCA-BMG. For starters, as with many of the unused takes, because there's been no dubbing or the loss of even a single generation, you get a much closer sound than on most of Elvis' released recordings, even the properly remastered editions; on 'Do You Know Who I Am', you are close enough in the mix to the voice microphone that you can hear every breath and even the whisper of the smallest nuances in his performance, almost too close in terms of picking up flaws that are very evident -- on the other hand, his vocal charisma is more evident here, on this flawed take (that begins with a false start at the wrong tempo), than it would be on more polished and successful readings; the effect is almost addictive to the listener. |
Southern Nights : 1975 : Elvis Presley FTD CD |
![]() |
Southern Nights is a live compilation from the Spring Tours of 1975 and a companion set to 'Dixieland Rocks'. I found that including the dialogue and one-liners, they really represent 30 tracks on this CD. With a couple of lost opportunities here I'd still rate it as 8/10 and a very worthwhile purchase ... this way your really getting tremendous 'highlights' together! Buy it now and be surprised! (3:29) Listen to Elvis sing I'm leavin' Huntsville, May 31, 1975. From the Southern Nights CD from FTD. |
Summer Festival : August 11, 1972 : Elvis Presley FTD CD |
![]() |
Summer Festival contains a complete soundboard recording of Elvis' show at the Las Vegas Hilton on August 11, 1972. Plus some bonus tracks. This is for me a REAL pleasure to get a soundboard release from this summer in Las Vegas with enough 'bonus songs' to fill the running time to nearly 74 minutes AND represent Elvis' repertoire during this season. The representation here varies from the good to very good category, with several songs pretty excellent. Therefore even before I listen to the CD, I expected to be in for a treat ... |
Elvis : All Shook Up FTD CD : Stereo : August 26, 1969 : Midnight Show [Stereo] |

Big Boss Man : 1975 : Elvis Presley FTD CD |
![]() |
Big Boss Man represents Elvis' 18th March - 1st April 1975 Las Vegas season. What we get is a full CD (78 minutes) of parts of 3 shows from that season, giving us some rarely performed songs as well as one (almost complete) show from this season. The 3 shows represented are first the 28.3.75 M/S, then 5 songs from 31.3.75 M/S and finally 3 songs from the 22.3.75 M/S. |
Elvis On Tour : The Rehearsals FTD CD |
![]() |
Elvis On Tour - The Rehearsals features recordings from RCA’s studios in Hollywood in March 1972, which were conducted in association with that year's MGM concert film Elvis on Tour. The CD covers Elvis rehearsals for his upcoming tour, combining classic Elvis live repertoire with some of his new studio material. There have been a lot of 'rehearsal' Elvis CDs to come out, but this one is by far the best. First of all, it almost sounds like a studio album. The songs are mostly complete without a bunch of mistakes and a do-overs and most sound really great. There isn't any joking around, each track pretty much jumps strait to the next song. |
Closing Night : 1973 : Elvis Presley FTD CD |
![]() |
Closing Night is a soundboard recording of Elvis' show at the Hilton Hotel, Las Vegas September 3, 1973. |
Elvis: Polk Salad Annie [Stereo] : Elvis Presley FTD CD |
![]() |
Polk Salad Annie contains live RCA stereo recordings from February 15, 1970 in Las Vegas plus bonus tracks from February 17th to February 19th. Polk Salad Annie is the third CD to be released from the professionally recorded February 15th M/S to 19th D/S recordings. Following the original On Stage album, we had an expanded version (with more 69/70 recordings) in 1999, and at last a FTD purely devoted to the second Las Vegas season. Although 'All Shook Up' and the first part of 'I Got A Woman' are not on the tape, the remainder is the complete 15th February midnight show. This is another great release and a must have CD! |
The Impossible Dream : 1971 : Elvis Presley FTD CD |
![]() |
The Impossible Dream captures Elvis Presley at the start of his fourth Las Vegas season beginning on January 26th 1971 and marks the first time RCA/BMG/FTD have officially released live recordings from this year ... Overall it is a short and satisfying show, with a few songs introduced live for the first time alongside some excellent bonus songs. |
So High : Nashville Out-takes 1966-68 FTD CD |
![]() |
So High features outtakes from Elvis Presley's Nashville sessions during the 1966–1968 period and what an absolute gem it is! |
Takin' Tahoe Tonight! : 1973 : Elvis Presley FTD CD |
![]() |
Takin' Tahoe Tonight is a soundboard recording of Elvis Presley's concert at the 'High Sierra Theatre' at the Sahara Tahoe Hotel, Nevada at 3AM on May 13, 1973. The bonus songs are from the midnight show the same night. Recommended listening. While a few bootlegs do capture Elvis during this period, RCA realised that Elvis was not performing at 'full blast' and until now no concert from this period has ever been released. So this new FTD CD is a real first. |
Dragon Heart : 1974 : Elvis Presley FTD CD |
![]() |
Dragon Heart is a soundboard recording of Elvis Presley's concert at Notre Dame Athletic and Convention Center, South Bend, Indiana on October 1, 1974 and contain's three bonus songs - Trying To Get To You, Blue Christmas & All Right, Okay, You Win. |
Studio B FTD CD |
![]() |
Studio B is the sequel to the sensational FTD CD Fame & Fortune and takes us on a journey from Elvis Presley's chart topping year of 1961 (Blue Hawaii etc) to that first taste of movie desperation, 'Roustabout'. There is no doubt that the dynamic force of the 'Elvis Is Back' sessions had been left behind & the smoother sound of the sixties had crept in, but at the same time Elvis' Nashville musicians were the brilliant 'A Team' and his voice had never sounded so beautiful. With a playing time of over an hour, Ernst & Roger have again released an essential purchase. |
Elvis : New Years Eve 1976 FTD 2CD : [Audience Recording] |
![]() |
This FTD CD is a double CD-set featuring Elvis Presley's complete concert on 'New Years Eve' 1976 in Pittsburgh. Important : This is an Audiance recording - NOT a soundboard. The sound quality is both noisy, hollow, and loaded with crowd noises, but this is a historic moment and probably the best quality we are ever going to get. |
Elvis : At The International FTD CD [Stereo] : Elvis Presley FTD CD |
![]() |
Elvis At The International was recorded by RCA in Stereo during Elvis Presley's triumphant 1969 engagement (August 23, 1969 - Midnight Show) at the International Hotel in Las Vegas. In August 1969 Elvis Presley was bursting with a new enthusiasm and energy. ‘In The Ghetto’ had just charted #3 in the US and Elvis needed to prove to his first Las Vegas audience that the King could reclaim his crown. This is the first ever complete concert released from 1969, with Elvis In Person being a compilation. There is a lot of ambience thus containing the live feel a concert CD should have. The audience is there with you all the time, without taking away the charm of any instrument or any vocal. A great show in great sound quality is all we can ask for. This is a brilliant CD, containing not only the best live version of ‘Suspicious Minds’ released so far but showcases Elvis Presley in fabulous voice and great humor. This is the 20th FTD release and one of their very best, If you had to choose one Elvis show that you could have witnessed then this, August 23rd Midnight show, would have to be near the top of your list. After hearing this I won’t be playing ‘In Person’ again! Includes five (5) RARE Live Recordings. Unique performances; Memories, Baby What You Want Me To Do, Runaway, Reconsider Baby and What'd I Say. |
Dinner At Eight : 1975 : Elvis Presley FTD CD |
![]() |
Dinner At Eight is a sounboard recording of Elvis' dinner show in Las Vegas December 13th, 1975. The tape is different to most of what we call 'soundboards', this concert was recorded on a reel-to reel tape, and not the usual cassette. The show is still in mono though, and there are a few tape problems along the way, but in general it sounds good. |
The Nashville Marathon FTD CD |
![]() |
The Nashville Marathon features out-takes from Elvis Presley's June and September 1970 recording sessions and is another stunner from the FTD Team! These recording sessions have been explored before on the excellent 'A Hundred Years From Now' and this new CD should be viewed as a part 2. However nine of the tracks have never been released as alternate takes before and the versions of 'Mary In The Morning' and 'Twenty Days and Twenty Nights' alone are reason enough to buy this CD. |

Elvis : Spring Tours '77 [Stereo] : Elvis Presley FTD CD |
![]() |
Elvis Spring Tours '77 CD : RCA Records wanted to release a new Elvis album, but they only had six unreleased songs in the can. Obviously, that's not enough songs for an album. They couldn't get Elvis into a recording studio to tape anything else, so they followed him around on tour, hoping he would perform some songs he hadn't previously recorded. It ended up that he played only three 'new' songs during that tour. To save tape, no complete concerts were recorded. Only a few select songs were taped at each show. So what we have here is 23 songs taped at 12 different shows between March 26, 1977 and May 3, 1977. The sound quality is very good. It's among the best sounding Elvis live recordings, strictly from an audio point of view. Of course by the time, Elvis wasn't at his best, so from a performance point of view, it's inferior to older recordings. But for the most part, the performances here are decent, although there is a 'been there, done that' feel to a lot of them. Probably the most interesting recordings here are the undubbed versions of two of the songs that ended up on Elvis' last album (Moody Blue). The songs are Unchained Melody and Little Darlin'. |
Fame And Fortune FTD CD |
![]() |
Starting with 11 dynamic tracks from his crucial 'Elvis Is Back' sessions Fame And Fortune shows that Elvis Presley, of course, had lost none of his edge recording an amazing variety of musical styles. Here we have great Rock n' Roll, sublime ballads, Pop, blues and even a little bit of Gospel. These first tracks are the real highlight of this CD but we also get 8 tracks from 'His Hand in Mine' as well as 8 from his final session before 'Blue Hawaii'. | No longer available
It's Midnight : 1974 : Elvis Presley FTD CD |
![]() |
It's Midnight is a soundboard recording of Elvis Presley live at the Las Vegas Hilton, August 24, 1974 - Midnight Show. The show is a solid performance. Better than most of his early '73 performances and sure much better than most of his '76 shows. Elvis is in fine voice, he is relaxed, and the performances are solid. His is in very good humor throughout the show, although his a little acid in some of his jokes, maybe a side effect of his disappointment in have to be back to the old pattern. But the show itself is interesting because he kept the base of the new concert, so all the new songs are here: 'If You Love Me (Let Me Know)', 'It's Midnight', 'If You Talk In Your Sleep', 'Softly...', omitting only 'Promised Land' and 'Good Times Charlie's Got The Blues'. |
Silver Screen Stereo FTD CD |
![]() |
Silver Screen Stereo is the follow up to 'Out in Hollywood' but there is much more here. 26 tracks, over 70 minutes, and this time the treat of eavesdropping on Elvis Presley and the band working out the songs and, above all, the BRILLIANT audio quality. The cover is pure 60's and one of FTD's best. Ernst has added the logo 'A new Orthophonic High Fidelity Recording' (which Elvis' early RCA singles used to say). | No longer available
Dixieland Rocks : 1975 : Elvis Presley FTD CD |
![]() |
Dixieland Rocks will blow you away! The sound is awesome with crisp, clear vocals and Elvis is in fine form, both vocally and in his interplay with the band and the very receptive audience. At this stage of his career (1975) some of his concerts were rushed and lacked a little polish, but not his concerts in Murfeesboro, Tennessee on May 6 and 7. |
Easter Special FTD CD |
![]() |
Easter Special is a brilliant compile of twenty (officially) unreleased Gospel songs and features some excellent alternate versions of old favourites as well as some fascinating Studio discussions. From the opening track of 'March of the Dimes' - Elvis Presley's 1957 plea for the support of Polio victims - to the fabulous 1973 finale of 'If that Isn't Love' this CD is a total delight. |
6363 Sunset Boulevard FTD CD |
![]() |
Elvis - 6363 Sunset Boulevard returns to Elvis' Studio material, giving us alternate versions recorded in March 1972 + 1975 at RCA's Studio C in Hollywood. '6363 Sunset' is a fascinating second look at Elvis Presley’s recording sessions at the RCA Hollywood Studios in March of 1972 and 1975. The first 6 tracks are from the 2 nights in 1972 that produced 'Burning Love' and 'Always on my Mind' and the final 6 tracks focus on the session that produced the Elvis Today album and in the middle, we get 7 tracks from the 'On Tour' concert rehearsal sessions also recorded in the same studio. 'More please'! | No longer available
Elvis : One Night In Vegas FTD CD [Stereo] : Elvis Presley FTD CD |
![]() |
One Night In Vegas contains the August 10 opening concert. This is Elvis at his very best. It is not easy to find suitable words for this concert. It simply is Elvis at his very best! And that says about everything! One Night In Vegas contains the August 10 opening concert. Several of the songs performed are first (live) versions: 'The Next Step Is Love', 'I Just Can't Help Believing', 'Something', 'You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling', 'You Don't Have To Say You Love Me', 'I've Lost You', 'Bridge Over Troubled Water', 'Patch It Up'. An impressive list! The sound quality is in as to be expected, marvelous. |
Too Much Monkey Business FTD CD |
![]() |
Too Much Monkey Business features twenty recordings from the sessions that Felton Jarvis and Chip Young recorded in 1980, lifting Elvis Presley's vocals off the original tapes and recording brand new backing tracks. Ten of these recordings originally found their way to the commercially successful 'Guitar Man' album, and FTD has added another ten previously unreleased songs. |
Tucson '76 : 1976 : Elvis Presley FTD CD |
![]() |
Tucson '76 is the 6th FTD release and is a soundboard recording of Elvis Presley's concert in Tucson, Arizona on June 1st, 1976. This concert was chosen because Elvis is in very good voice, he's in a good mood. This concert will surprise many of you. Many of the usual songs from that period are there, but there's also a great rockin' Burning Love (with a long finale), followed by the first surprise of the evening, an excellent version of Help Me Make It Through The Night. After that Elvis asks: 'what do you wanna hear?', and people shout all kinds of song-titles, and Danny Boy is suggested. And then Elvis himself starts doing this song. At first both Elvis and the band seem a little unsure, but they get more and more into the song, and it reaches a beautiful full climax. |
Long Lonely Highway FTD CD |

The Jungle Room Sessions FTD CD |
![]() |
Since the FTD CD series began it has given us the chance to hear some classic unreleased Elvis Presley material but none more essential that their fourth release 'The Jungle Room Sessions'. After 'The Jungle Room Sessions' the majority of the original releases on 'Moody Blue' and 'From E.P Boulevard' now sound so disappointing. Of all the Elvis Presley CDs produced by the FTD team this is the one you must have, whether you are a fan of 70's Elvis or not. This truly is an astounding packed 72 minutes of essential listening that is also an amazing documentary capturing some extraordinary moments of Elvis' life. |
In A Private Moment FTD CD |
![]() |
In A Private Moment is the third outing from the FTD label brings us home recorded songs, captured on tape in Germany in 1959 and in Elvis's home in Malibu in 1960 and 1966. This material was recorded on amateur equipment, so the sound quality isn't the best, but it's still pretty decent for this type of recording. The CD offers a rare musical insight into a superstar sitting at home jamming with friends. The CD is a pleasure to listen to, and there are many highlights here, such as 'Danny Boy', 'I'm Beginning to Forget You', 'Sweet Leilani', the dark and disturbing 'Moonlight Sonata', 'It's a Sin to Tell a Lie', and 'What Now, My Love'. No serious Elvis fan should go without this CD; it contains many rare songs not available elsewhere. The tracklist speaks for itself. This CD is the sequel to RCA's The Home Recordings and feature's performances from Germany in 1959, and from Elvis' Hollywood homes in 1960 and 1966. Also Off Duty Book/CD. |

Burbank '68 FTD CD |
![]() |
Burbank '68 is the first release from the long awaited FTD 'collectors label' and contains a plethora of unreleased tracks from one of the only parts of Elvis Presley's career that almost every fan and critic agree on: The TV-special filmed and recorded for NBC in June 1968. What we get here are 23 tracks (including two tracks of dialogue) of which no less than 14 are previously unreleased. The parts of the TV-special in focus here are the June 25th so called 'dress rehearsal' and the June 29th, 6 PM 'stand up' show, supplemented with a few studio tracks. |
