MRS is the current owner of the original Sun 45rpm 209 'Mother Stamper' master of Elvis' first recording 'That's All Right' and the last 'Mother Stamper' for Sun 45rpm 223 'Mystery Train'. To mark 50 years of the birth of Rock n' Roll, a limited number of silver plated 45rpm vinyl for Elvis Presley's first ever record 'That's All Right' were pressed. These were strictly available to a limited number of 1,954 pressings worldwide. These framed silver plated discs were processed directly from the original Sun 209 45rpm metal master 'Mother Stamper' that was used to press the first Elvis Presley record at Sun in 1954. No other company in the world can offer you a genuine 'That's All Right' framed record edition that is genuine and that is pressed from the original master. I Had The 'Master' Of Elvis's First Record For 30 Years Without Realising It! The  Memphis Recording Service will release a CD/Book package titled 'Blue Hawaii : The Expanded Alternate Album' at the end of April. The CD is an expanded edition of the original soundtrack album 'Blue Hawaii' originally released in 1961. It contains many previously unreleased out-takes and alternate versions of the soundtrack recording including Elvis’ number 1 hit, 'Can’t Help Falling in Love'. As a bonus, the CD is accompanied by a 40 page book containing many rare and unpublished photographs taken on and off the set of 'Blue Hawaii'. This CD is presented exactly the same as the MRS releases : The Complete Louisiana Hayride Archives 1954-1956, Off Duty With Private Presley Book Deluxe CD set, Tupelo Welcomes Home Elvis Presley Deluxe CD set and the Such A Night in Pearl Harbor Deluxe CD/ 100 Page Book set to be released in March. |

Memphis Recording Service in association with JAT Productions will release 'Such A Night in Pearl Harbor' in March 2012. It will contain a completely new re-mastered CD of Elvis' performance of the benefit concert recorded at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii on March 25th 1961 to aid of the USS Arizona Memorial Fund. The quality is of this concert is far superior than anything of this ever released before and will now be considered, one of the best Elvis concert recordings up until that time. This CD is presented exactly the same as the MRS releases : The Complete Louisiana Hayride Archives 1954-1956, Off Duty With Private Presley Book Deluxe CD set & Tupelo Welcomes Home Elvis Presley Deluxe CD set. I would like to say the MRS / JAT Productions release of The Complete Louisiana Hayride Archives 1954-1956 CD is a dream come true but I can't as there was no anticipation something like this would ever be released. For years now we have had the basic el cheapo compilation of the basic tracks but now we have a full CD with a running time of over 75 minutes that gives a very good overview of Elvis in concert in the 1950s. This CD is presented exactly the same as the MRS releases Off Duty With Private Presley Book Deluxe CD set, Tupelo Welcomes Home Elvis Presley Deluxe CD set and Such A Night in Pearl Harbor CD and 100 page Book set. Another gem from MRS.

The Memphis Recording Service of Off Duty With Private Presley celebrates the 50th anniversary of Elvis Presley’s discharge from the army in 1960. This book / CD set is in the same format, only even better than, the Tupelo Welcomes Home Elvis Presley set.The CD contains recordings made during Elvis’ time off duty whilst in the army with such classic’s as A Big Hunk O’ Love, A Fool Such As I and I Got Stung. It also has 30 Unreleased tracks privately recorded by Elvis while stationed in the US and Germany. These recordings are released officially for the first time to the public. As part of this audio/visual release, the accompanying 100 page book has many rare and stunning photographs, many of which are unreleased and seen here for the first time. It includes informative text and historical facts focussing on Elvis' time in the US Army from his induction in 1958, to his discharge in 1960. It also details the recording sessions (both private and commercial) made during this time. The CD contains recordings made during Elvis’ time off duty whilst in the army with such classic’s as A Big Hunk O’ Love, A Fool Such As I and I Got Stung. Tupelo Welcomes Home Elvis Presley, featuring two concerts and rare interviews, is indeed a well produced. It is released as a CD 'with 40 page hardback book' but it really can be considered a book with CD, albeit a small book. But with a size: 16.7cm (6.6") x 14.4cm (6") x 1.1 cm (3/4") it is bigger than some books released. The CD placing is unique, the disc actually slots in to the back cover, the space is indented into the cover where the CD then clips into a regular CD case holder. View image. As for the book there is both photos (33) and information, a great clear photo of Elvis at the same Fair many years earlier NOT winning a prize in the talent show, along with some great shots of Elvis on stage in 1956, including one with a close up of future Country music singer Tammy Wynete, aged 14. |

  Tupelo's Own Elvis Presley DVD. Digipack with a 16 page booklet. Never before have we seen an Elvis concert from the 50's with sound. Until Now! The DVD Contains recently discovered Unreleased Film of Elvis performing 6 songs, including Heartbreak Hotel and Don’t Be Cruel, live in Tupelo Mississippi 1956. Included we see a live performance of the elusive Long Tall Sally seen here for the first time ever. This is an excellent release no fan should be without it. The 'parade' footage is good to see as it puts you in the right context with color and b&w footage. The interviews of Elvis' Parents are well worth hearing too. The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying: Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people. Sincerely, this is the hottest Presley material I've ever seen. There are several complete songs (Heartbreak Hotel, Long Tall Sally, I Was The One, Don't Be Cruel …) but even the snippets, bits and pieces of I Got A Woman or Hound Dog are fun. The evening show and 1957 footages are nice extras to complete it all, just like the audio section with both 1956 shows and an outstanding interview from 1957. Blues. The audio contained here includes the master recordings from the original soundtrack album 'G.I. Blues' plus, hours of alternate takes of all songs, with all the Elvis studio banter intact and, instilling new insight and live atmosphere into the complete making of this historic movie soundtrack. These recordings are transferred and processed in 24bit 192k stereo. In addition to these rare recordings, the set includes a 100 page book entertained with pages of unreleased photographs, memorabilia and goes behind the scenes, with full text and documentation and includes contributions from Ray Walker of the Jordanaires and a forward by songwriter Sid Tepper.
