Elvis Like Any Other Soldier Special 50th Anniversary Edition is the ultimate book on Elvis' army years. While it is packed full of 1500 great photos, we would not describe this as a photo book as such because it is equally or more so jam packed full of information and fine detail on Elvis' two years of military service that makes this book the ultimate reference book. While the photos are all of good qulaity they are not of the photographic paper qulality of say, The Elvis Files Volume 2, 1957-1959 and Volume 3, 1960-1964, A Date With Elvis : The Army Years Revisited, Elvis ŕ Paris, or The Ultimate Elvis In Munich Book. This new edition keeps the fine detail of the original with fascinating insights provided by Elvis' army buddies. As first hand accounts of Presley's life and times begins to fall victim to time, was wonderful too see these memories and moments preserved forever. For the first time, instead of being provided with glimpses and publicity shots of G.I. Elvis, we see him as he really was in heavy, heavy detail. The Ultimate Elvis In Munich Book is a great book, well bound and using excellent quality of paper. Already from the cover illustrations, it is clear that this is something special, for these are not the run-of-the-mill photos we are normally served up with. All in all, 'The Ultimate Elvis In Munich Book' is a very well produced, interesting document, revealing a lot about a few brief periods of Elvis' life about which relatively little reliable information is otherwise available. |
