This CD would be a well-chosen intro to Jerry Reed, a highly enjoyable artist. Contains (the utterly delightful 'Tupelo Mississippi Flash' and 'Amos Moses', along with 'Guitar Man' and 'U.S. Male' and the hit, 'East Bound And Down'. There are instrumentals ('Navy Blues', 'Nervous Breakdown'), sad songs full of self-mockery ('The Likes of Me'), down-home tunes ('Are You From Dixie', 'She Got the Gold Mine'), even cynical social commentary ('Lord, Mr. Ford'). If you're unfamiliar with Reed, this is a great stepping stone to curing the shortfall. | |

A Cold Night In Nashville has ten terrific selections, Five of which are the original demo's that are the ones actually heard by Elvis. On January 20, 1977 Elvis Presley new to Nashville to finish his Moody Blue LP at Creative Workshop studios. Unforeseen circumstances made Elvis cancel these sessions, but he still intended to record the new material for future release. While he died before he could begin the new sessions, six songs had already been selected. Cold Night In Nashville gathers together these tracks for the first time. | |

Jerry Scheff - Fire Down Below CD. Very limited quantity, all CD's are autographed by Jerry Scheff. 'Fire Down Below' was the last song Elvis Presley worked on in a studio situation. He never completed the vocal. Being that I wrote the song, I was naturally disappointed. So twenty-five years later, the TCB band with Terry Mike Jeffery singing lead, got together and recorded it along with some other songs of mine'. | |
