UK 18 #1 Singles Box - Elvis Presley 10" Vinyl

Complete set collected as released in the UK in 2005.

Never before has an artists contribution to popular music been celebrated in such a groundbreaking way but as we know... there has never been an artist like Elvis Presley. 'All Shook Up' was Elvis' first UK #1 single and will be the first re-release on 3rd January 2005. Both CD and 10" of 'All Shook Up' will be launched in a beautifully designed, foil embossed CD and 10" box which can then be used to house the other 17 UK # 1's. Due to UK chart regulations on packaging for singles, the 'All Shook Up' release/Box set will not be eligible for inclusion in the UK singles chart, therefore we will also be re-releasing Elvis' second UK #1 single 'Jailhouse Rock' on the same day.

10" Vinyl -- Each 10" vinyl release will be packaged in the original RCA generic sleave.

-- The 10" label will replicate the original 7" label artwork.

-- Each 10" will be limited and individually numbered.

Each CD single will be pressed on black plastic with grooves to mimic the original 45. Peacock Design has painstakingly taken the artwork from original sources, then cleaned them up for these re-issues. As well as the original A side, there will be the B-side recording, plus a third track which will be either an alternate take or a linked track.

The sales bar-code will be a peel-off so that once removed it will reveal an exact replica to the original release. Each CD will be packaged in a repro of the original British bag, which in turn will slip inside a reproduction of the original American picture sleeve. This format will be extended to the 10" vinyl versions.

The first single will be Jailhouse Rock/Treat Me Nice which will qualify for a chart position and will be released on 3rd January. At the same time All Shook Up will be released also on both formats, but as a chart-ineligible package, incorporating the collector box big enough to store the full collection of singles. The boxes will come in CD and 10" Vinyl sizes.
